Edible ABC's teaches students about the
alphabet while tasting healthy foods. The 5 lessons cover learning new healthy foods and letters of the alphabet, how each food helps the body, taste tasting, and physical activity with corresponding reinforcement activities. Curriculum materials help assist with lesson delivery and connect to families at home.
Curriculum is intended to be delivered as part of a multilevel approach.

The Young at Heart exercise class provides strength training for older adults and includes exercises for 8 major muscle groups. The “Eat Better, Move Better” mini class structure includes 4 sessions of the “Young At Heart” exercises and a nutrition handout. The program is delivered 2 times per week for 30 minutes each class.

Includes 24 Tai Chi forms that emphasize weight shifting, postural alignment, and coordinated movements. Participants learn to view falls and fear of falling as controllable, set realistic goals to increase activity, change environment to reduce fall risk factors, and exercise to increase strength and balance. Includes eight 2-hour sessions of 8-12 participants. Structured group intervention activities, group discussion, problem solving, skill building, assertiveness training, videos, sharing practical solutions and exercise training.

Multi-component, evidence-based physical activity program for older adults. 8-week program targets older adults with osteoarthritis and has demonstrated significant functional and physical activity improvements in this population.  Fit and Strong has 24 sessions for 90 minutes. 60 minutes PA, 30 nutrition education. It can be administered 3 times a week for 8 weeks or twice a week for 12 weeks. Registration & training is required to access and deliver curriculum.

The tool kit contains a leader’s guide and 4 sessions to promote fruit and vegetable consumption and physical activity. Each session is about 30 minutes, plus optional 10-minute physical activity before and after. Free download from website.
